The reality of God can only be experienced. It cannot presently be proved scientifically, some say it can never be proved scientifically - but as all scientists know, science just waits for more facts to present themselves. Imagine a scientist who experiences the reality of God for the first time - what will they do with those facts? The actual concept of God is certainly reasonable and logical. The hope that God represents is certainly indispensable. Those who have experienced God have received all the proof they will ever need. It is not necessary to see God with eyes made of flesh, when we have a spirit that is literally connected directly to God.
Yet we still struggle. We struggle against the flesh, the material, all the physical aspects of our world. Prior to the realization of the reality of God, we live in a virtual box. Our reality is only what we can physically, presently perceive inside this box. Once we are awakened to the fact that we are living inside this box, we can take the first step outside the box, where you can begin to perceive reality in all its glory!
An interesting short video on 'Perceiving Reality' - using the principles of Kabbalah.
