I've just re-discovered Greek Composer Vangelis (Evangelos Odysseas Papathanassiou) and wanted to share his music with you today.
In 2001, Vangelis performed live at the Temple of Zeus in Athens Hellas ( Greece). Mythodea was originally written in 1993, and used by NASA as the theme for NASA's 2001 Mars Odyssey mission. This music video of Vangelis is from the 2001 Mars Odyssey.
Most of you are probably familiar with Vangelis without even knowing it, he also wrote the score for the hit movie Chariots of Fire.
